SurfinBerms is a female owned small business based in Calgary, Alberta thats mission is to encourage & fuel the first ride or the best ride! Whether that be getting individuals on motorcycles, dirt bikes, mountain bikes, you name it! We thrive in building community and personal independence by hosting volunteer ride days, collab rides with local clubs, lessons, training sessions, community builder activations, and fun events! We are avid motorsports enthusiasts with over 20 years of riding experience. We love sharing the stoke of two-wheels with new riders or riders looking to advance their technique.

OUR STORY

SurfinBerms started in 2016 by Danika White and Meagan Messinbird initially to raise funds and fill the void for prizing and rider payback for the Womens Motocross National Series. A one off event has now grown into a community of two wheel enthusiasts. SurfinBerms is a community that is fueled by Women Riders. Over the past decade more and more women have become more involved within the motorsports industry. Women in the motorsports industry has changed so much since we started riding. The sport has grown in amazing ways, and we’ve been inspired to encourage new women to take up riding by offering guidance, community and a safe encouraging environment along the way. Everyone's introduction to two wheels is different. For us, there were not many women to look to for guidance, or even race with. Our story has been created by many experiences of trial and error, and doing our best to figure it out along the way. From all our experiences we want to give back, and share the stoke of riding. We're here to encourage and fuel the first ride or best ride.
