Berms at The Glade

Happy Friday everyone! 

Well Berms officially went East, and it felt like we were at home!! With over [40+] ladies + girls pre-registered for Berms at The Glade we knew it was going to be a great time, but it WAS EVEN BETTER THEN GREAT!! 

The amazing crew at Riverglade MX had the track completely prepped just for ladies + girls! With the national rigs showing up and parking it was such a treat and experience for us “seasoned” riders. This has never happened for us ladies and we hope it’s the norm for these little girls. Dirt bikes — gas powered, electric, small to big! New riders to national caliber racers, spectators, family members, free entry + riding from Riverglade MX, Halo Donuts from Toys for Big Boys, shirts/hats/posters from Troy Lee Designs Canada, helmet/hats/casual from Fox Racing Canada — the stoke level was so high. 

Our goal for these community days is build confidence and make new individuals comfortable to be able to show up to any track and trail head eventually at any time. For them to be introduced to a community that they are always welcome to, to make friendships and reconnect with old connections. This happened at Riverglade and really hit home while doing lead laps and seeing the moto community cheering for these girls behind the white fences while they rode around the track, as if they were racing a national! Our next SurfinBerms in Calgary is September 3rd at Wild Rose MX, right before Red Bull Outliers!
